How much does it cost to hire a chimney sweep?

This depends on the type of chimney you have and it’s condition. Expect to pay more if you have creosote buildup, dead or living animals in your chimney.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve been walking roofs since i was about 13 years old because my father owned his own business so I’ve pretty much been around this type of work my whole life.

If I am missing a brick on my chimney, is it necessary to get it repaired?

Yes. Loose or missing bricks and chimney deterioration can be symptomatic of a major problem. In many cases, minor repairs done early will save on huge repair bills later. In all cases this condition should be checked by a professional as soon as possible to avoid the dangers of fire hazard or structural failure.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Meeting the client face to face, always ask if you have any questions or concerns before beginning the job, and make sure everybody is comfortable before doing the job.
